This book was developed by the author for his graduate level course on Signal Integrity for High Speed Circiuts and for the System Bus. This is the first book to examine the physical foundation of System Integrity and is based on electromagnetic theory derived from Maxwell's Equations. The first part of the book develops the physical theory before turning to applications. The chapters are: Foundations of Maxwell's Equations, Vector Analysis, Static Electric Fields, Solution of Electrostatic Problems, Steady Electric Currents, Static Magnetic Fields, Using Fields to Solve Maxwell's Equations, Plane Electromagnetic Waves, Plane Waves in Compound Media, Transmission Lines and Waveguides, Wave Propagation in PWB Materials All chapters will have problem sets and their solutions will be available in an Instructors Manual.
